NGC 7479 - Spiral Galaxy
NGC 7479 (C44) is a Barred Spiral Galaxy (type SBb) in the constellation Pegasus. Its distance is estimated to be about 105 million light years. More information about this galaxy can be found at The SEDS NGC/IC Index - NGC 7479.
This image was captured on 18 September 1999 and is a composite of 77 fifteen-second exposures in white combined with cyan (46x15sec), magenta (41x15sec) and yellow (38x15sec) color components. The white component of this image is shown below.
